Digital Africa Hub respects the intellectual property rights of others and responds to valid takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and the Nigerian Copyright Act. If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, please follow the process below.
How to Submit a Takedown Request
Send us a written notice that includes the following information:
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A clear description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed
- The exact URL or location of the infringing content on Digital Africa Hub
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
Where to Send Requests
Send takedown notices and counter-notices to egotanwachiderawisdom@gmail.com or submit a message through our contact page. We will review and respond to valid notices as promptly as possible, typically within a reasonable time depending on the complexity of the request.
Counter-Notice
If you believe that content was removed in error or that you have the right to use the content, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice should include:
- Your full name, address, telephone number, and email address
- Identification of the content that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court of Nigeria and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice
- Your physical or electronic signature
Repeat Infringers
Digital Africa Hub may terminate or suspend access for users who repeatedly infringe the copyright or intellectual property rights of others.
